Good Evening residents, On Monday evening 27th April 2026, reports were made to police in relation to Antisocial Behaviour in the area of Sapphire Way and Jade Close where youths were seen throwing stones at properties and a property resulted with a broken window. The youths were asked to move from the area by residents and they were then subjected to a torrent of verbal abuse from the children involved. With the assistance of the residents CCTV we have managed to identify the youths involved and they have been spoken to today in front of there parents and issued with warnings on their behaviour out in the community. Parents are fully on board with us and are willing to work with us to confirm who the culprit is of the smashed window. We are now seeking further footage of which one of the children involved threw the stone at the window which has caused the damage. If any residents in the area of Jade close, Sapphire way have CCTV footage of the youths throwing stones at properties i would be grateful for any evidence of this. There has also been a separate incident of stone throwing on 19th April 2026 at around 17:00 to 17:30 around Citrine close where a property has also had a patio door broken and a roof tile. We are awaiting further footage of these youths and they are separate from the incident on Monday evening. If anyone has any other footage from the Citrine close area and the odd numbers of Sapphire way nearest the beach area please get in touch via 101. I would like to thank all residents for contacting us and we urge anyone to report further incidents to us.
